This is a very light soup, kind of like your pepper soup, only we are using different ingredients. It's the first in a three course menu. But since I'd rather we all get to prepare it at home, I refuse to tag it. You are special every day so don't sell yourself short,pamper your self.I really do not know for a fact, it's origin. But once I used it at a hosting, and it got raving reviews. Enough talk jo!
Ingredients :
1 medium sized fish of your choice.
10 medium sizes fresh prawns.
1 cup shelled periwinkles
2 tablespoons grounded crayfish
3 medium sized okro
1 small bunch curry leaves
1 tablespoon of pepper
1litre of water
1 season cube
Salt to taste.
Method:
1. Clean and wash the fish and prawns
2. Season and steam for about 5 minutes
3. Add water and allow to simmer for an extra 10 minutes.
4. Add the periwinkle allow that to cook a little while.
5. Now add the shredded okro, curry leaves, seasoning cube, pepper, and lastly the crayfish.
6. Stir and simmer for just about 5 minutes more. Adjust your salt to taste. Et! voila 😜you're good to go. a ci lafiya which is hausa for eat well.
